Breakout Hit No Solution Surpasses 10K in Popularity, Pioneering a New Collaboration Model

Jun 24, 2026

Recently, Yueling International Media (Beijing) Co., Ltd. officially released the latest single “No Solution” by Cheng Ming, a music artist based in the United States. This track marks Cheng Ming’s first innovative work featuring AI-generated vocals as the performance medium. With its profound emotional core and mature artistic craftsmanship, the song has seen a simultaneous rise in both critical reception and online popularity following its release, with streams and saves each surpassing 10K. Amid the current wave of AI-driven music creation, the project—guided by a “content-first, technology-enabled” creative philosophy—has gained dual recognition from both the industry and listeners, offering a new perspective for the digital transformation and international dissemination of Chinese-language music.

“No Solution” is a sincere and refined work that continues Cheng Ming’s deep exploration of pop music composition and his insight into human emotion. Its melody weaves together complex feelings of loneliness and hope. The lyrics, written by Lady Sue, employ vivid imagery such as “a desolate sky” and “mist in the mountains” to depict an individual’s solitary search through uncertainty, intricately blending emotional tension with the faint remaining glimmers of inner hope. The melodic structure is restrained yet dynamic, incorporating Cheng Ming’s signature modern compositional techniques within a pop framework, achieving both atmospheric depth and emotional resonance.

To precisely convey the song’s distinctive mood of detachment and underlying emotional currents, Cheng Ming experimented for the first time with AI-generated vocals as the expressive form of the work. He optimized the arrangement and vocal design according to the characteristics of AI timbre, allowing the clean and delicate AI voice to become the vessel for the song’s emotional essence—truly realizing technology serving artistic expression.

As Music Director of Yueling International Media, Cheng Ming is an internationally recognized Chinese composer and keyboardist. He is a member of the Global Outstanding Chinese Artists Association (GOCAA) and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), and serves as a composition juror for the San Francisco New Concept International Film Festival. His works have been selected for multiple major international film festivals, including the Asia International Film Festival. His creative portfolio spans contemporary classical music, film scoring, and pop music, and he has long been dedicated to the fusion and global dissemination of Eastern and Western musical cultures.

Speaking about this project, Cheng Ming maintains that AI is a tool for expanding the boundaries of artistic expression, while the core of creation will always lie in human emotion and thought. Upholding his long-standing philosophy that “art knows no borders,” the work will be gradually released on major international streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music, using music as a bridge to promote cultural exchange between China and the world. Industry observers note that the breakout success of “No Solution” reaffirms the fundamental value of high-quality original content. The exploration by Cheng Ming and Yueling International Media offers a constructive model for the industry—one that prioritizes content while empowering it through technology. This approach not only enriches the expressive dimensions of Chinese-language music but also opens a practical and viable path for its international dissemination.
